Sr. Software Engineer – C++, MFC, C#

 

STS International (STS), a leading systems engineering and integration company that helps meet the critical needs of the Department of Defense and other federal agencies, is creating a new Senior Software Engineering position in our Falls Church, VA office.  This position will support the development of force protection and surveillance systems, as well as the development of an emergency medical care training product.

 



Primary Roles and Responsibilities will include:Design, develop, document, and implement integrated security system software (C++). Design, develop, document, and implement software for Sensor Fusion Platforms and related components (C++). Design, develop, document, and implement software for a mobile medical training system and its related components (C#).

Minimum Education:  Candidates should have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering or a mathematics-intensive discipline.  Ten years of relevant experience is required for candidates who do not possess a Bachelor’s degree. 

 

Minimum/General Experience:  Interested candidates should have a minimum of 6+ years of programming experience to include strong (6+ years) C++, MFC (5+ years), and C# development experience.  Knowledge of/experience with RS232 and RS485 communication protocols (application layer) is required, and prior experience working with ArcGIS Engine is a plus. 

 

Some travel (up to 25%) may be required.
