JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is accountable for the general oversight of multiple projects within one of our operational divisions, or for cross-divisional projects, that may vary in complexity and duration. This position directs, manages and implements program management activities, to meet initiatives that support the success of the business operations for our client. This responsibility includes direct accountability for program or project execution from beginning to end, assembling and leading the program or project team, or teams, delegating tasks, identifying, managing and negotiating resources, and communicating project related information to the Divisional PMO or appropriate stakeholders . This position will adhere to guidelines and processes to ensure that divisional objectives correlate with enterprise initiatives through communication and collaboration with the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO).

Established criteria for Division Program Manager are:
Accountability for multiple projects of various complexity and duration
Significant impact to the Enterprise
Managing initiatives that cross two or more divisions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university, preferably in Computer Science or Business Administration/Management.
Requires a minimum of three (3) years experience with in project management information system applications.
Requires a minimum of two (2) years experience in coaching and team facilitation.
Requires a minimum of three (3) years project management experience with understanding of PMO structures and capabilities.

Knowledge:

Requires knowledge of enterprise integrated planning methodology.
Requires knowledge of project management technology solutions and project management life cycles and related tools and practices.
Requires knowledge of PMIs standards and practices, certification is preferred.
Requires knowledge of change management model practices and tools (strategic and execution).
Requires knowledge of adult learning principles inclusive of coaching, design and delivery of learning solutions.

Skills and Abilities:
Requires technical proficiency in project management tools.
Requires excellent supervisory/management skills.
Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Require excellent conflict management and relationship management skills.
Requires excellent facilitation, coaching and platform skills.
Requires strong project management skills based on Horizon project management competencies. PMI Certification required
