Job Description

Our rapid growth has created an opportunity for an additional Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, to support the development and production of our Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 launch vehicles and our Dragon spacecraft.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties: Establish, maintain and improve supplier quality management program to ensure supply chain is capable of supporting procurement and production schedule while maintaining product quality, delivery and cost goals.Analyze contractual, design, and specification requirements for the development or modification of methods, procedures, and metrics needed to ensure that quality standards and practices are maintained
Use acceptance and nonconformance data to develop quality metrics with which to continuously improve program/supplier performance. Performs product inspections, witness tests, and audits supplier QMS.  Maintains supplier ratings and Metrics. 
Provide technical expertise and coaching to suppliers on Quality System improvement initiatives as appropriate.
