Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, Inc., a part of Pratt & Whitney, is the preferred provider of high-value propulsion, power, energy, and innovative system solutions. Our products and services have been used in a wide variety of government and commercial applications, including the main engines for the space shuttle, Atlas and Delta launch vehicles, and missile defense systems. Facility location is Chatsworth, California.
Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, Inc. is implementing SAP (`9s R/3 system and is aggressively pursuing an expert to help lead and develop critical integration software with SAP delivered applications in MM/PP and SRM. The candidate will work in the supply chain management area as well as materials management within Information Technology Operations.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical discipline, required
- APICS certification desirable
- Minimum of 7 years software development and support
- Minimum 4 years of SAP experience with at least 2 of those in a lead role
- Experience with one or more of the following SAP modules: MM, PP, SRM
- Experience in conducting large scale project requirements and design sessions with business units.
- Candidate must have outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent analytical skills and be able to work in a team environment.
- Expert cross functional supply chain knowledge of the new product introduction, sourcing, production and supply planning, order management, and demand planning processes
- Expert in integration of APO modules (DP,SNP) with SAP R/3
- Extensive experience in Business Requirement gathering, Process Analysis, Fit-Gap Analysis
- Expert in supply chain processes and configuration of SAP MM/PP in areas of planning, purchasing and production processes
- Strong understanding of Statistical Forecasting (trend, seasonal), forecast accuracy measurements, and regression, Sales and Operational Planning, Promotional Planning, Life Cycle Management
- Knowledge on PP/DS and new components as Inventory Collaboration Hub (ICH) Is desirable
- Experienced in consumer and manufacturing industries
- Experience with configuration management software, testing tools, and Web Services is a plus.
- Experience with Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic .Net, ASP (classic), ASP.Net, JavaScript, and HTML is a plus.
- Relational database management system experience with Oracle and Oracle related utilities.
- Experience with the following tools is essential: TOAD/SQL Navigator, .Net IDE (Integrated Development Environment), VISIO, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
