Shuttle Guidance Engineer

Cimarron is currently seeking a Shuttle Guidance Engineer to work with us in support of our work with Boeing.  The Shuttle Guidance Engineer will be responsible for:Performing integrated GN&C analysis in support of the entry and/or orbit flight phases; Evaluating mission designs, mass properties, software mission initialization parameters (I-Loads); Proposing software and critical math model changes using offline simulation programs; Supporting determination of flight readiness; Performing real-time mission support and pre and post flight analysis, including stability analysis and analysis of entry navigation hardware; Performing design and certification studies for new/enhanced shuttle capabilities using 6 DOF simulations to define design trajectory environments for loads, aerodynamics, or other system analysis; Develop and maintain configuration controlled trajectory simulations, frequency domain stability analysis tools and other analysis tools; Perform analysis of flight software Principal Functions and/or I-Loads as required; Support development and verification of flight software changes utilizing facilities like the Shuttle Avionics Integration Laboratory (SAIL).

Minimum Required Skills & Experience:One or more of the following: performed real-time mission support, pre and post flight analysis, knowledge of GN&C systems and 6-DOF simulations. Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.

Desired Skills & Experience:Knowledge of Shuttle Program, SAIL testing experience is desired. Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communications skills.   Bachelor's Degree.
