Site Manager
Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree TITLE: SITE MANAGER PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for managing a Test Services Support Center (TSSC) at customer location. The Site Manager is the TSSC lead engineer responsible all on-site activities affecting aircraft test operations administration and maintenance, logistics, and operation of aircraft test and equipment. This position is located in Everett, WA JOB DUTIES: 1. Management, supervision, and technical oversight of assigned personnel.2. Technical compliance with specifications, contract, statement of work, company policies, directives, regulations, and documentation.4. Preparation and submittal of program and customer required reports.5. Prioritization and apportionment of work assignments.6. Primary interface between the customer, management and on-site personnel.7. Develop knowledge of customer business outside of core opportunities; build personal business relationships; identify other business opportunities at this or other customer sites, and work with Sales to expand business base. 8. Control, tracking, and reporting of all on-site property, assets, and inventories KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Outstanding customer relationship skills are a must.2. Strong working knowledge of test operations related activities and equipment with emphasis on aircraft production, aircraft systems, subsystems, and equipment utilized for test operations. 3. Working knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, software systems, technical documentation and ability to observe, compare, evaluate, and make decisions related to test systems and processes.4. Ability to conduct on-the-job training.5. Strong familiarity with customer aerospace, defense, commercial and aircraft production, expectations, policies, and business practices and.6. Ability to work with minimal supervision while still maintaining high customer satisfaction orientation7. Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and related quality principles and concepts. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1. Bachelors Degree in engineering or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a minimum of five years in a management capacity.2. Direct aircraft OEM production or maintenance experience desired3. PMI certification or other program management experience is a plus4. Lean 6-Sigma training or certification is a plus RELATED INFORMATION: TSSC Activities includes: Rapid response and problem resolution for aircraft production test issues Working with customer personnel to implement changes Amending Detailed Test Plans, Installation Procedures, Shop Floor Procedures Factory coordination to implement Test Systems HW & SW changes Updating technical publications, test procedures and training materials Participating in Configuration Control Board activities Troubleshooting and failure analysis support for customer production test Performing change impact assessments Test Equipment modification/upgrades Updating Test Program Set (TPS) software Hardware configuration management Software configuration tracking Maintenance and distribution of site specific data files Database support Technical documentation management and updates to manuals and training materials TSSC records management
