We are currently recruiting for a Software Configuration Data Management Analyst III. This key role will perform all aspects of Software Configuration Management (SCM) for assigned programs. This includes: Planning, identification, control, status accounting, audit, and the conduct/coordination of other selected contract requirements, with superior leadership and management skills. Establish and maintain SW baselines through SCM version management and change management tool usage. Perform or witness generation of executable files from controlled source code. Assist in gathering SCM metrics and generating reports. Generation and update of SCM procedures and process guides.
Successful candidates must possess a minimum ten (10) years relevant experience that includes at least three (3) years in a SW Configuration Management decision-making role with five (5) years preferred, or equivalent education and/or experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job. Experience with PC and corporate CM tools a plus (Matrix, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Version Manager, Tracker/TeamTrack, etc.). Thorough understanding and knowledge of SW Configuration Management process. Detailed knowledge of military and commercial specifications relating to software and configuration management. Effective written, presentation, and oral communication skills. Skilled user of personal computers and Microsoft Office (especially Word, Access, Excel), familiar with use of databases, excellent attention to detail, orderliness, and ability to multi-task efficiently. Ability to read, interpret, & extract applicable information from contract documents, specifications, & procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and schedule tasks. Knowledge of SEI CMM/CMMI desired. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
