Job Responsibilities:
To provide software development services in support of the Company's product goals in research, development, and production as part of the engineering team. Tasks will include research, design, development, and testing of all aspects of software development. You will be developing for both desktop applications as well as embedded applications typically for Windows XP and Windows CE platforms. You will apply principles and techniques of professional and creative software development, and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Creativity and ingenious problem solving will be used every day.


Our work is of significant importance to National Security. Our end products are anything but boring. Quality and reliability are very important. GPS, audio, video, encryption, mapping, graphics, and numerous other technologies are used daily.


Requirements:

The following are required:
- U.S. Citizenship (sorry no work / visa permits allowed)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (CS, CE, etc.).
- 2+ years of experience.
- Very Strong C++ skills.

- Experience with DirectShow or video codec is a must for this current position please do not apply if you do not have experience with these applications.
- Multi-threaded development experience.
- Experience taking a project from concept to completion; including design, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
- Basic experience with electronics.

The following are desired:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Windows CE experience / expertise.
- Embedded OS development.
- Experience with Video Streaming protocols.

- Familiarity with wireless (802.11), modem communications (GSM, cellular, etc.).
- Strong inter-personal skills to effectively communicate with vendors and customers.
- Well rounded technical skills to understand other phases of design (mechanical, software, etc.).
