Software Engineer - Aerospace Simulation 0616

Job Category: IT/Software Development Job Requisition Number: Q10835 The candidate will develop an aerospace simulation environment to support design of advanced missile technology and perform related trade studies. The work will include original code generation as well as importing legacy code into the simulation. The code will involve modeling software algorithms, vehicle hardware, and environments. Must Have the Following: U.S. Citizens. Experienced with the Windows operating environment, MATLAB, and C/C++ (preferably using Microsoft Visual C). 3+ years programming in C/C++. Some experience with MATLAB also required. 5+ Years with BS or 2+ Years with MS or 0+ Years with PhD. BS or MS in computer science, engineering, physics, applied math, or equivalent. Good oral and written skills. Ability to take guidance and work in small team while still working independently to develop and test the code. Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Self motivated and able to work with limited guidance.Prefer to Have the Following: Understanding of simulation principals desirable.
