Software Engineer (Geometry development)

Position Summary:

 

The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent knowledge of mathematics, in particularly analytical and differential geometry, with strong programming skills. A test of ability to solve math problems will be conducted during the interview.

 

The position is to work on the development of the geometry engine, which is a software tool to create and edit geometrical models in preparation them for FEA. Work will be in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment that requires the ability to learn quickly and work both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements:

- University degree

- Excellent knowledge of mathematics

- Creativity in solving non-standard problems

- Strong programming skills

- C++ experience

Other Desirable Skills:

 

- Engineering background; ability to understand an engineering problem and create a solvable math model of it

- Geometry development experience
