Software Engineer - VOIP

Our client provides critical products for customers in several key areas including; Military Command and Control, Intelligence, Military Weapons Testing, Remote Control, and Air Traffic Control.  Requirements: - Must be a US Citizen, must have US Security Clearance. - BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related technical field required (Masters of Science a plus). - 9 years software system development experience required. Object-oriented software (preferably C++) development experience and high-level system design experience required. - Experience with design and implementation of multi-threaded applications is required. Experience developing applications on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Unix) desired. Experience with Voice-over-IP is required. - Experience in communication protocols, networking, and user interface design desired. Working knowledge of military communications operational concepts in a command and control environment is a plus. Experience developing device drivers or embedded firmware is a plus. Experience using Configuration Management tools (e.g. ClearCase) is a plus. Using standard and non-standard telephony and data interfaces, their products allow communication over a wide variety of communication devices and also allows for the control of assets from a safe location far removed from the radio site. The responsibilities of this position include Requirements Analysis, Design, Coding, and Unit Testing of software for voice communications and radio control systems within a team environment.   This will include the creation and modification of C++ applications on Windows and Linux platforms.  This position also involves development of new tactical communications solutions to meet future requirements and support of technical meetings with customers.
