Software Engineers

GBL Systems Corporation is a leading systems engineering and software development firm with an 18 year history of providing technical support to the U.S. Government in the areas of Weapon Systems, Electronic Warfare and Network Centric Warfare.  GBL is based in Camarillo and currently has several exciting opportunities for Software Engineers.

 

Software Engineers will contribute to planning, designing, developing, documenting, testing and implementing software/systems requirements.  Basic understanding of networks, web-based product implementations, configuration management, algorithm development, and military standard development processes is desired.





Key requirements and attributes we are looking for include entry level to 5 years’ software development experience, C/C++, JAVA expertise and an undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent degree/experience.

 

Successful applicants should have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all management levels, the personality to support team goals, as well as the ability to work independently without close supervision.  Applicants should exhibit strong interpersonal and oral/written communications skills.

 

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

 

Additional desired skills and background include familiarity with MIL-STD documentation, current or recent U.S. Government security clearance, experience with .NET programming, XML/UML and SOAP, database development and scripting languages (e.g. PYTHON, PERL).
