Semiconductor Engineering Program Management Overview

The Teradyne Program Management Office (PMO) works with supervisors and technical teams in product development and focuses on the success of the overall project. A program manager facilitates the creation of the project schedule, identifies and coordinates internal and external resources to execute the plan, monitors and measures progress, and may make mid-course corrections as necessary.  A program manager must also be able to manage change, escalate issues, and take an active role in getting decisions made in a timely manner. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for a senior software program manager to manage multiple software projects at different stages in their life cycle.Your responsibilities include:Integrating various engineering, marketing, applications and support groups in the initiating, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of software projects to achieve schedule, cost (product and program), and scope objectives.Using industry standard techniques and tools to measure progress against product and program objectives. Drive proactive corrective action where required, Manage scope change control activities, Communicate periodic project assessment to Sponsors.

Basic QualificationsBSCS or BSCE 5+ years experience with software program management.Project Management Professional with current PMP certification. Good organizational and communication skills including ability to communicate and foster communication between project groups. Experience managing team elements in multiple geographic locations. Understanding of CMMI desired
