Software Requirements and Test Engineer

Perform as part of a larger customer/contractor team to develop, review, integrate and negotiate requirements with particular emphasis on verification and validation. Perform analyses and tasks to determine the proper and correct requirements and verification strategies to meet competing demands of performance, cost, and schedule. Develop and maintain requirements documentation and records to support tasks and activities. Review and collaborate on requirement work products such as requirement specifications, functional flow diagrams, verification matrices, traceability matrices and other technical reports as required. BS degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years engineering experience is required. Thorough understanding of practical government application of system and project engineering principles required. Solid planning and organizational skills are required. Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required. Experience in the utilization of requirements verification and validation methodologies is required. Capability to utilize system engineering requirement traceability software tools such as DOORS, Cradle, CORE, RTM, etc. is highly desired. Familiarity and experience with software testing activities and methodologies is highly desired.For quick consideration apply here
