Job Category: IT/Software Development Job Requisition Number: Q10949Full range of Project Management duties and responsibilities managing Information Technology (IT) solutions to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) customers. The position will require working with the Solutions Manager, prime contractor management, and DISA senior management to develop and implement an enterprise standard service delivery model for the DISA Corporate Network (CORENet). Act as senior solutions architect for the engineering of complex requirements. Provide subject matter/domain/technical expertise and leadership in the development of the enterprise service delivery model and associated technologies and processes as well as experience in enterprise level architecture. Responsibilities include: *Plan and evaluate complex networks and conducts site surveys. *Make recommendations on purchasing new products. *Design complex networks and provide technical expertise and oversight during implementation phase. *Develop technical standards and interface applications. *Identify and resolve security risks. *Present studies and briefings to customers. *Participate in the preparation of technical proposals. *Resolve complex network problems. *Provide guidance to other network analysts. *Perform daily systems checks and maintenance tasks and implement new systems and technologies into the network environment. *Troubleshoot and resolve local and wide area network problems related to network operating systems and e-mail systems. *Work with other engineers on tasks and projects where required for implementations, new technology testing, etc. Must Have the Following: US Citizen. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhD. Excellent people and networking skills. Excellent writing and speaking skills. Experience working within a CMMI or ITIL based technical organization. Eight or more years of infrastructure engineering experience in multiple technical areas. Eight or more years of experience in managing technical resources.
