Summary – Manages activities of the company’s compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

 

·  Manages activities  the Company’s compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act

·  Oversees development and testing of internal controls, financial results reporting and identification of process deficiencies and improvements

·  Stays abreast of changes in regulations to ensure timely compliance with SOX 404

·  Serves as a liaison between internal and external auditors

·  Lead or assist in other certification programs (e.g. ISO9000)

·  Provide Senior Management and the Board of Directors with timely updates on SOX compliance status

·  Must have Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance;  MBA or CPA preferred Minimum 6 years of relevant business experience, with at least three years of SOX experience

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·  Ability to network across the company effectively and maintain good working relationship with all departments and employees

·  Self-motivated, strong planning, organizational and time management skills; ability to work with minimal supervision

·  Proficient with Microsoft Office and significant experience with large ERP and accounting software packages

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Visual Acuity and dexterity to use a computer

Able to walk to various parts of our warehouse/repair station

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is normally performed in a typical office work environment
