Provide Pratt & Whitney P&L and Balance Sheet analysis support to the Group Financial Planning & Analysis team. The successful candidate will provide direct analytical support to the FP&A Managers and VP of FP&A. This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to become an integral part of the Group FP&A management team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Planning and forecasting for all aspects of a P&W business unit P&L and balance sheet results including cash flow;
- Quarterly Earnings Release preparation, including explanation of significant revenue and EBIT variances;
- Coordination of monthly P&L assessment, and submittal of monthly P&L/balance sheet forecast to UTC;
- Setting business units targets and assessing each business unit against those targets including the identification of risks and opportunities;
- Financial analysis of P&W peer companies;
- Assistance in the 5 Year financial plan process;
- Monthly presentations used to update the P&W Executive Committee on the financial results and key financial metrics;
- Identify and implement process improvements following the ACE (continuous improvement) principles; and
- Special projects.



BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business or related field. MBA degree (or MBA in progress) is preferred, but not required.

The candidate should have 7 or more years of experience in a full time Finance position in areas such as Financial Planning, Accounting or business unit financial support. Candidate should have strong analytical skills, demonstrated organizational skills, examples of effective teamwork, a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates and demonstrated ability to work effectively in high pressure situations. In addition, a successful candidate will demonstrate that they are passionate about working in/learning about FP&A.
