Sigmatech, one of the nation’s fastest growing Defense Contractors, has the following exceptional opportunity available at Ft. Belvoir, VA supporting the US Army’s USASAC Command: Senior Army Missile System Analyst.

 

Incumbent serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Army fielded materiel and service. 

Also, advises on Army materiel/systems in development. 

Primary concentration of effort is on the Pre-Letter of Request (Per-LOR) Phase of Security Cooperation but also includes the Program Development and Execution Phases of Security Cooperation. 

 

Pre LOR is the stage where the USG assists foreign partners, industry, Combatant Commands, and the overseas Security Assistance Offices (SAOs) in the definition of requirements and the determination of initial availability and/or releasability for defense materiel, technology, services, and information. In addition to the primary Pre-LOR mission, the incumbent works actions and assists USASAC Country Program Managers (CPMs) in the development of high profile, non-routine, and large dollar proposals. 

 

Examples include:  Preparation of 36b Congressional Notification Packages, Development of International Agreements for the co-production of Army end items, and Command Positions/Proposals for HQ Department of Army, Office of the Secretary of Defense, or Interagency USG staffing. Deals with primarily missile related issues.  Primary systems of responsibility are Javelin, Patriot, Stinger, Hellfire, MLRS, ATACMS, GMLRS, SLAMRAAM, and some THAAD related topics.

 

Requires:

Five to ten years’ applicable experience, particularly in the FMS arena, BS in an appropriate discipline, Masters preferred, and an active security clearance.
