Sr Electrical Engineer I - ATC Systems

RTSC is currently anticipating opportunities supporting the Aviation Technical Maintenance & Support Services (ATMSS) Contract. Hiring for these opportunities are based upon contract funding. Job Description : RTSC is currently seeking candidates to be an integral member of the Aviation Technical Maintenance & Support Services (ATMSS) team. Candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and/or modification of engineering drawings, drawing schedules, technical data and/or specifications, and development of test, checkout, prototype equipment, certification procedures, and analysis of equipment as necessary for the installation or reconfiguration of electrical/electronic systems and equipment for the Air Traffic Control (ATC), Aviation Technical Services (ATS), and Metrology and Oceanographic (METOC) facilities. Required Skills : Minimum of four (4) years practical experience, at a professional level, in responsible engineering duties. Practical experience must include two (2) years experience (may be gained concurrently) in the design of Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems and/or Navy Shore ATC experience related to any type of Navy specific ATC equipment/systems used for ATC purposes installed on Navy/Marine Corps shore-based facilities. Required Education : Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited engineering institution.
