Sr. Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer

Large Chemical/Materials company needs an experienced EE.  The Sr. EE is responsible for the electrical design of manufacturing facilities and equipment including electrical power distribution, machine electrical drive systems and machine control systems.  Thes responsibilities include: 

 

1. The development of corporate electrical design specs. for machine electrical drive and control systems including PLC's, human interfaces (HMI), and process data networks. 

 

2.  The management and maintenance of corporate electrical design specs. for machine electrical drive and contrls systems including PLC's and HMI's. 

 

3.  The management of major new and renovation projects of electrical power distribution systems, backup power sysems, machine drive systems and machine electrical control systems.  These projects will occur at multiple sites and the engineer will be responsible for the project definition, planning, cost estimating, vendor selection, proposal submittal, and project execution.  The engineer will be required to supervise and manage outside contractors, as necessary to complete project work.  The engineer will be required to conduct the appropriate safety reviews during the engineering design and pre-startup activities of the project and complete the action items stemming from these reviews. 

 

MINIMUM of  a BS in Electrical Engineering required.  Need to have 5-10 years in project management.

Must have a successful record of project execution. 

Must have demonstrated history in the development of specs. for electrical power, drive, and control systems to support the job requirement of initiating new corporate machine standards. 

 

Need to have a working knowledge of the NEC and 29CFR1910 (OSHA) requirements. 

 

Must be able to work in USA with NO sponsorship.
