Sr Field Engineer II/OCONUS travel

Job Description: Facilities/Field Engineer Individual can reside anywhere in the U.S. Requires current Full lifestyle Polygraph Security Clearance and periodic OCONUS travel of up to 90 days - may include hazardous/dangerous locations Field Engineer responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and operation of electrical, mechanical and structural infrastructures in an OCONUS environment. Field engineer will conduct site surveys, troubleshoot problems at locations, and perform preventative maintenance, providing detailed information upon return from travel. Required Skills: BS plus 6 years relevant experience or equivalent education and experience is required. -Experience with the customer HVAC and electrical distribution systems and equipment. -Understanding of the principles of designing, installing and operating diesel generator systems, voltage regulators and multistack air conditioning systems. -Requires current TS SCI Security Clearance and the ability to obtain a Full Scope/Lifestyle Polygraph. Desired Skills: -Familiarity with Department of State Overseas Building Office requirements and procedures. - Significant project management skills -Knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and Project, plus Lotus Notes. Required Education (including Major): -BS/BA or equivalent experience.
