Job Category: IT/Software Development Job Requisition Number: Q10923 Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of complex Linux servers/storage systems. Proactive monitoring and root cause analysis of internal production and pre-production systems. Will be working with a team to investigate and improve security and create best-practice architectural designs. Maintain effective working relationships with other IT Staff members, internal customers and technical staff. Providing operational support for internal Linux/Unix servers, workstations and infrastructure. Must Have the Following: U.S. Citizen. x86 based servers including RAID subsystems and SAN configuration utilizing SCSI. RHEL 3, RHEL 4, and RHEL 5 both AS/ES. 11+ Years with HS or 7+ Years with AA or 5+ Years with BS or 2+ Years with MS or 0+ Years with PhD. Experience working with helpdesk ticketing applications such as Remedy. Experience supporting business continuity and disaster recovery processes. Experience and Understanding of DNS, SFTP/FTP, SMTP, LDAP, SNMP, SSL, SSH, NFS, TCP, UDP, IP, RAID, TFTP, DHCP, and Kerberos.Prefer to Have the Following: SUN server/workstation hardware. Cluster Management sw, SUN Solaris 8, 9 & 10.
