NCS R6s Strategic Lead – Mission Support and Netted Logistics Job Description: Person in the position will lead and have responsibility for the application of R6s to an NCS level Strategic Thrust – Mission Support and Netted Logistics. The lead will interface with the President and VPs within Network Centric Systems (NCS) and across Raytheon. They will work multi-functional efforts across NCS and across Raytheon, when needed, to effect the desired results and garner the needed support for success. They will frequently interact with customers as well as strategic suppliers. A key responsiblty of this position is to be the R6s Lead on the Entrepeneurial and Innovation (E&I) team for Mission Support (MS) & Netted Logistics (NL). The purpose of the MS E&I team is to contribute to NCS growth by providing a strategic Mission Support and Netted Logistics perspective to the NCS Product Lines; provide Mission Support and Netted Logistics assistance and strategic insight to NCS Product Line Vice Presidents; develop, enhance and coordinate integrated Mission Support solutions, and identify Mission Support opportunities, increasing probability of win across NCS; and provide senior level assistance in establishing and maintaining military customer relationships for NCS MS Experience with Six Sigma in a strategic or growth environment is greatly desired. Critical tasks will be evaluating the strategic priority to determine the best approach to successfully execute it and to overcome obstacles. The lead will prioritize opportunities and assign appropriate resources to effect an improved PWin. The lead will prioritize internal needs and improvements, and work with the respective functions and product lines to effect needed change using six sigma. The lead will coordinate efforts between NCS Product Lines to drive synergy. The lead will also coordinate efforts across Raytheon, as needed ensure success of the strategic thrust. The lead will be responsible for Strategic Thinking, Project Management, and Financial Analysis as it relates to the Strategic Thrust. The Six Sigma Strategic Leads will report to the Director, NCS Six Sigma. Required Skills: ž Six Sigma expert ž Experience in ISR, EO or Logistics Operations, Acquisition Process and System Development, planning, organizing, and directing operations. ž Objective thinker, problem solver with the ability to execute challenging tasks to completion. ž Possesses quality values and work ethic. ž Strong problem solving ability and data analysis experience.
