Sr .NET Developer / Software Lead

Strong company seeks senior level software engineers and software development managers with significant experience to develop advanced tactical applications for defense department and homeland security operations. 

 

As part of a small Senior Engineering Team you will define and design new product technologies by collaborating with program managers and customers.  You will supervise a full cadre of technical team members through all phases of the development process.  You will organize and prioritize work flow and processes.  You will provide technical leadership to the development teams in areas of architecture, performance, robustness, and scalability.

 

Your team will establish and monitor coding standards to ensure industry “best-practices” are met.  You will mentor and teach others in the use of .NET technologies and guide them through the complexities of advanced software development.

 

Chosen candidates for this unique group will lead company R&D efforts for new products and capabilities.

 

Successful candidates can expect a starting salary in the $125 – 150k or better dependent upon experience.  Additional a full range of benefits such as medical and dental insurances, paid vacations and holidays, annual performance bonuses, and 401k benefits are included.

 

 

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

·         Advanced technical degree or experience (Masters or PhD)

·         5+ years of analysis and design of software applications

·         5+ years of practical programming experience

·         .Net 2.0, C++, C#, and VB.NET Proficiency

·         Ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions

·         Develop technical design documents based on customer requirements

·         Ability to build, lead, and motivate product teams

·         Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

·         Be a U.S. Citizen 

 

 PLUS-UP QUALIFICATIONS: 

·         Knowledge of Object Oriented Design Methodologies

·         MSCD or other certifcations
