Sr. Network Analyst

This position within AAI's Network Services Group provides design, planning, configuration, documentation, implementation and advanced support of LAN/MAN/WAN data infrastructure and related services.  The roles and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

 Maintaining data network uptime and availability Advanced support of escalated service and support issues Management of projects and implementation of new services as required Intermediate to advanced configuration of LAN/MAN/WAN infrastructure Intermediate to advanced configuration of network security tools and appliances Contribute to design, architecture, and capacity planning for network infrastructure Participation in knowledge transfer while providing input within a team environment Application of best practices for maintaining production data network environmentsInvolvement with infrastructure incident and change management, insuring appropriate activities follow applicable processes Ensuring that network infrastructure designs and equipment are properly documented and infrastructure assets are tracked Design and support of VPN technologies.

This position requires five or more years of experience in the design, implementation, and administration of network infrastructure in diverse LAN/MAN/WAN environments, with a specific focus in environments consisting of Cisco, Checkpoint, or Enterasys products. Candidates should be fluent in wired and wireless networking technologies and related protocols with intermediate to advanced troubleshooting skills. Three or more years experience planning and implementing network upgrades and infrastructure changes following a formal change management process in networks consisting of 1000 or more hosts.

 

Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field.  This position requires excellent communication skills and the desire to work, share, and learn in a challenging team environment.
