Sr. Oracle DBA

Provide on-site software support for Oracle database systems on UNIX and Linux platforms.  Implement and configure new Oracle databases.  Maintain existing databases, performing activities that include software upgrades, database monitoring and tuning, backup and recovery, problem resolution and providing general Oracle product support.  Related job experience should include the normal database administration skills that will allow you to perform the above activities. * 5+ years as an Oracle DBA on UNIX/Linux platforms * Oracle RAC with 9i and 10g* Working knowledge of Oracle 8i, Oracle 9i, and Oracle 10g is mandatory * Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills. * UNIX shell scripting experience * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Ability to work in a team environment with out business partners * First Shift - 9 - 5, Monday thru Friday position * 7 x 24 On Call support  Company does not provide relocation support and does not provide signing bonuses.  Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.  No Corp-to-Corp. Please submit your resume to Sonia.Chaves@modisit.com Job Reference Code: 50608ORC-SLC Company: Modis, Inc.
