The Regional Sales Manager position: New York & Bay Area, CA Competitive Compensation Plane BOE Detailed responsibilities include: - Develop and Qualify sales leads within a given territory - Convert prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition - Create, Present, & Implement a territory plan - Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive positioning in the marketplace - Work cooperatively with inside sales, sales engineers, and other members of the team - Maintain customer satisfaction & loyalty throughout all customer interactions - Meet or exceed revenue quota Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years quota bearing sales experience with demonstrated overachievement - Ability to build and manage a large prospect pipeline and to accurately forecast sales - Proven ability to work independently and as a successful member of a sales team - Strong verbal communication skills with ability to qualify leads / close opportunities - Demonstrated effective planning and time management skills - Positive attitude and professional integrity - Excellent business writing and verbal communication/presentation skills - Up to 50% travel Desired Skills: BS / BA degree preferred Company Information: Raytheon Company, with 2007 sales of $21.3 billion, is a technology leader specializing in defense, homeland security, and other government markets throughout the world.
