Sr Principal IA Systems Engr
LOCATION: SAINT PETERSBURG, FL 33701 Job Description: Position is for a Security System Engineer with strong technical and communications skills needed to support ongoing and emerging programs that provide security awareness. Candidate will support development of system architecture, perform system analysis; design, and development phase of programs with focus CONOPS, data fusion, requirements generation, data mining and common server COTS integration. Responsible for pursuit and capture of contracted research and development contracts (CRAD) from government science and technology labs. Will partner with commercial and government industry firms to develop IA solutions for research, development, and implementation. Responsible for working with senior business and technology leaders to define and execute an integrated IA strategy. Will lead research and development tasks including proof of concept prototyping, experiments, and demonstrations as needed. Will support business development organization in meetings with customers to understand their needs and requirements. Will compose white papers, proposals, and technical publications and direct others in these efforts as needed. Required Skills : « Technical management experience overseeing systems through the systems development life-cycle « Experience in research, development, and implementation of IA solutions for customers with sensitive data or systems, and stringent security requirements « Ability to lead teams and produce individually « Detailed understanding of and experience in engineering security solutions for Government customers « Experience engineering all IA services (confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability), and the techniques to implement them « Experience in taking designs through formal certification and accreditation « The above experience should be in engineering complex networked systems « Familiarity with the commercial computing, networking market and related information assurance products « Must have proven experience engineering all IA services required to develop integrate, test and deploy complex networked information systems including IA and IA enabling HW, Operating Systems and applications « Experience with the full spectrum of DoD, Federal, and International IA Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes including DCID 6/3, DITSCAP, DIACAP, NIACAP/NIST NISPOM,. and DoDIIS « Experience in solutions to meet SAP/SAR/SCI system requirements. « Must possess a current Top Secret clearance with a single scope background investigation (or equivalent) with a periodic review that is less than five years old. Desired Skills: « Recent experience deploying information assurance solutions for DoD systems (JWICS or SIPRNET) is a plus « Experience with the following products is a plus: Entrust PKI Applications, Tumbleweed Adjudicator Management Application, MS Front Page Web Development Applications, Sun Solaris OS Administration, Oracle 9g, and TCP/IP.
