Sr Principal Systems Engineer
Coordinate/oversee all Integrated Logistics Engineering (ILE) activities for the DCGS program, interact with customer, users, vendors, and subcontractors, and identify all required tasks in the development of training materials, technical manuals, support documentation, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), and Reliability, Maintainability, Availability (RMA) analysis. Generate, update, and track schedule and budget; and report deviations through the Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Assume System Integrator role to incorporate training, technical manual, and Logistics Support inputs from subcontractors. Ensure appropriate staffing, supervise all ILE personnel, and oversee all ILE activities, tracking accomplishments and technical performance. Perform Logistics Support and RMA analysis and apply findings in the development of sparing, FMECA, and FRACAS reports and recommendations. Ensure Training Plan, training materials, and technical manuals are developed and provided on time. This includes oversight of the development of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM). Act as System Safety Engineer (SSE) and perform all System Safety program tasks, including development of System Safety Program Plan, performance of hazard assessment, and development of Safety Assessment Report. Ensure there are established procedures for all aspects of Installation Planning and Supportability. Provide quality audit of all ILE products and analysis. Ensure compliance with customer standards. Required Skills: - 10+ years experience in Integrated Logistics engineering, Sustainment, Supportability or related engineering field - Experience in implementing structured processes to define, design, develop, test, integrate, deliver, and support the on-site and off-site system support structure, products, and training presentations. - Broad, formal knowledge of the principles of Logistics Support, including Training and Technical Manual development; RMA analysis; LSA; and sustainment and deployment planning for activities such as installation, facility preparation, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M). - Knowledge of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and software technology. - Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS), its use, and analysis. - E xperience in planning and tracking work according to schedule and budget. - Existing DOD TS/SCI with SSBI clearance. Desired Skills: - Desire education and/or experience in electronic technology and software applications. - Experience in managing large, multi-faceted, multi-contractor program is a plus.
