Sr Principal Systems Engr (SREO SUGV - GSI)

System Engineer for the Short Range EO (SREO) and Small Unmanned Ground Vehicle (SUGV) Sensors Integrated Product Teams within the Ground Sensors Integrator (GSI) program. Responsible for technical baseline management including requirements development, decomposition, and allocation for Electro-Optical sensors. Candidate will provide technical oversight of major suppliers of complex EO sensor subsystems for the Army's Future Combat Systems (FCS). The SREO, a 2-axis gimbaled sensor, consisting of multiple imaging sensors assemblies and a multi-function laser assembly. The SUGV EO sensor consisting of a suite of imaging sensors and a laser range finder for the small unmanned robotic platform. The SUGV Laser Target Designator, Nd-YAG laser for the small unmanned robotic platform. The person in this position will be responsible for system functional and interface requirements analysis and maintenance of the corresponding requirements within the SREO and SUGV Specification baseline. Responsible for high level technical oversight and compliance assessment for all system-related functional and interface performance of the supplier developed SREO and SUGV systems. Responsible for supporting integration of the SREO and SUGV into a larger Sensor Suite integrated by the GSI program. Travel required approximately once per month. Domain experience in EO sensors required. DoD Secret clearance required.
