Position Title: Sr. Project Engineer: Stress/DesignPosition Summary:Seeking mechanical engineer with stress analysis interest and experience; solid engineering, analysis, and office software aptitude; and outstanding team and communication skills.Responsibilities:*Collaborates with design team to develop new and adaptive products*Prepares technical summaries, reports, and presentations for customer review*Learns new analysis tools to improve analysis efficiency and fidelity*Assures stress critical drawings and processes meet customer requirements*Contributes positive progress towards lean engineering goals and initiativesRequirements:1. Bachelors degree (BS) in mechanical, aerospace engineering or a related technical discipline. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through ten or more years of related experience.2. Experience evaluating stress conditions from applied loading conditions3. Understands design considerations for static and fatigue structural analyses4. General knowledge of aluminum/steel materials and properties5. Able to learn and apply both finite element (FEA) and engineering formula analyses6.
