Sr Project Mgmt Liaison / Technical Coordinator
Position is located in Vienna, VA OVERVIEW: Intelligence Community Technology Management (ICTM) Technical Coordinator will work as part of the Portfolio Management (PfM) team. The successful candidate must quickly develop a broad understanding of the programs and initiatives of ICTM and its leadership, and must be able to set priorities in work assignments. The successful candidate must project a professional demeanor, utilizing oral and written communication skills of the highest quality. Interpersonal skills are extremely important as this position requires working with a senior professional staff, high-level government leadership within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), and mid- to high-level government leadership within the Intelligence Community (IC) agencies. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, flexible, and willing to take the initiative on tasks supporting the ICTM leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibilities of the Sr Project Management Liaison (Technical Coordinator) include: - Work with the existing PfM team to support on-going PfM processes and activities - Serve as the Fusion PfM team’s representative and a focal point within the Government’s spaces - Provide direct support to the Government’s PfM Division Chief - Serve as the PfM focal point for tasking - Perform a daily review of PfM tasks within Action Tracker and the ICTM Task Manager’s morning report; and, ensure that the appropriate team member is given the tasking, including the Division Chief and associated Division staff - Participate in the daily teleconference to review tasking with ICTM’s Task Manager - Ensure the PfM technical team, seated at a different location, receives tasks assigned by the PfM Division Chief, associated Division staff, and ICTM’s Task Manager - Serve as the PfM focal point for responses to tasking and follow-up with team members on all assigned tasks to ensure they are delivered on time - Maintain the PfM team’s MS Project schedule; provide notices to staff of impending deadlines; and, provide weekly updates to the OCIO’s Front Office and Fusion management, as appropriate - Track the status of deliverables assigned to the PfM team; and, provide periodic status reports to the PfM Division Chief - Coordinate PfM’s weekly input to both the Government’s and Fusion’s weekly accomplishments report - Coordinate activities with other ODNI components/teams, as required - Perform follow up, as directed, with other ODNI components/teams exercising professionalism and appropriate discretion when representing OCIO/ICTM - Respond to information requests and tasking from within the OCIO, as required - Provide general ICTM support to include (applies to all members of ICTM): - Prepare executive-level reports, as necessary - Record actions and minutes of meetings, as required - Track the implementation of recommendations, as required - Distribute decisions, minutes, and other material to interested parties, as required - Support current ICTM processes and activities - Serve as an ODNI CIO representative at IC-wide meetings, as necessary - Coordinate activities with other ODNI CIO components/teams - Brief senior leadership, as required - Report on status and completion of assigned actions - Perform other related duties as assigned Basic Qualifications - Required Experience, Skills: - BA/BS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, plus 4 or more years of applicable work experience. - Minimum 3 years experienced with Microsoft Office tools, include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project - Minimum of 7 years work experience as a technical contributor, to include at least three years within the Intelligence Community. - Minimum 3 years experience preparing executive level reports and briefing a senior professional staff and high-ranking government leadership - Ability to occasionally travel locally (within the Washington DC Metropolitan area) using Personal vehicle.
