A reputable company in the Defense industry is currently seeking a Sr. Satellite Field Technician to join their team of professionals in Phoenix, AZ.

 

Job Description:

The Senior Satellite Field Technician provides satellite telecommunications systems design support for all aspects of technical operations.

 

Job Responsibilities:Global enterprise network design and infrastructure supportWorks directly on problems that are moderately to highly complex to analyze, plan, program and operate communications systemsGathers data from other program elements to form the overall plan for design and technical executionConfers with functional area experts and/or authorities to determine system requirementsAnalyzes technical problems within the program and makes recommendations based on input from the government customer, prime contractor and other personnel

 

Job Requirements:Minimum of 2 – 5 years of relevant work experience Knowledgeable in terrestrial and satellite communications systems, both commercial (Ku/Ka) and government/military (X/Ku/Ka) applications and equipmentMust be able to create accurate link budgets and bandwidth allocation planningMust have knowledge of DVB-RCS baseband format
