THE POSITION

Supervise and participate in activities related to receiving, storing, shipping, dispatching and delivery of materials and supplies to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and material transportation. 

BACKGROUND DESIRED

1.  Ensures all shipping items are properly identified and packaged according to customer, military and ISO Specifications.

2.  Process shipments and receiving of company products.

3.  Know federal, state and foreign shipping & receiving rules and regulations.

4.  Drive company vehicles when required.

5.  Responsible for training forklift operators.

6.  Insure products are shipped free of documentation errors.

7.  Responsible for traceability, record of certificate of conformance, and assurance the applicable documents are maintained in visibility for accuracy, etc.

8.  Ability to read blue prints, purchase orders and other technical job orders.



BACKGROUND REQUIRED



1.  Experience in shipping ITAR products.

2.  Familiar with the US Customs Automated Export System (AES).

3.  Must have a clean driving record.

4.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

5.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal & written.

6.  Hands-on experience with on-line shipping methods.

7.  Computer literate including Microsoft word, excel, and outlook.
