Sr Software Process Engineer - DO178B

Honeywell products touch the lives of most people everyday, whether you’re flying on a plane, driving a car, heating or cooling a home, furnishing an apartment, taking medication for an illness or playing a sport.The Software Process Engineer will be responsible for creating, implementing, intepretting and enforcing software development processes required to comply with DO178B and other standards.  Will be required to create and modify process documents such as procedures, work instructions and checklists.  Will provide guidance and oversight for all CCB activities.  Focus will be on standardizing processes across groups and locations within the organization.

Basic Qualifications:
BS Engineering Degree is required with software development experience desired. The candidate is required to have the following experience: Process engineering within a DO-178B software development organization. MIL-STD-498 and CMMI Level 3/4 environment experience is desired.  Excellent written and verbal communications skills.  Ability to multitask, drive efforts to completion, with attention to detail and quality.  Usage and knowledge of a variety of software configuration management systems including PVCS, VSS, Clear Quest.
