Sr Structural Mechanical Design Engineering Specialist

Come join our software engineering team responsible for software development of real-time satellite control systems, working with some of the most advanced products in the satellite industry. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will perform definition of requirements for satellite flight software systems, perform software/hardware interface development and lab integration, and participate in peer reviews, walk-throughs and inspections. You will also develop documentation products as defined in Space Systems/Loral (SS/L) processors, support spacecraft level integration and check-out. In addition, you will serve as technical lead for specific functional areas and support spacecraft on-orbit anomalies. You may also prepare presentations for Program Status Reviews. Minimum Requirements: B.S. in EE, CS, CE,Physics, Aero/Astro Engineering or related major or equivalent. Minimum of five years experience in design and testing of real-time embedded software. Experience with C/C++/Ada and knowledge of microprocessors, electronic interfaces, and device drivers is required. Experienced embedded tester is essential.
