Sr. Supply Chain Manager

Plant location of a 10 Billion dollar public company with facilities worldwide is in need of a Sr. Supply Chain Manager!  The position requires TALENT... the hire will be immediately Manager level ...promotable within 12-18months!Accountable for the management of Materials, Demand Planning and Inventory Control for entire operation!  Supplying product for finished product output of 1 complete item every 3 minutes (1 finished product includes 8-10,000 components). Will manage 4 Managers, each with a staff of 4 supervisors and material analyst.  Will manage a complete team of 300-400 at the company's largest facility worldwide! Will manage multi-million dollar raw and finished goods inventory in excess of $200million dollars. Develop and implement strategic, long range supply chain processes Accountable for lean implementation and six sigma strategy. Develop and implement Inventory Control initiatives Oversee and drive statistical forecast accuracy adjustments Must have ability to work within an automotive, matrix environment while providing staff skill enhancement.


Requirements:Degree in Supply Chain Management, Quantitative Analysis, or Operations Management; MBA preferred. Must have minimum of 10 years in supply chain: Inventory Control, Forecast and Demand Planning. Must have minimum of 5 years managing a staff of 100 or more Must have experience from a large manufacturer (20,000 skus)and global distributor of durable goods. Must have automotive industry experience! A preference for candidates with Lean manufacturing, 6 Sigma, ISO and continuous improvement process experience.
