Sr Systems Engineer

Raytheon is seeking a Software Engineer to join our GPS Systems Engineering team. The GPS system provides real-time GPS-based products and supports a wide array of critical defense, civil, and commercial projects. Be an active member of a team for charting the future evolution of the system, and develop, support, and maintain the system and its diverse applications. Required Skills: -Minimum 6+ years C programming in support of scientific applications and programs; including scripting and algorithms -Programming experience must be in a Unix environment but must be familiar with Linux and Windows environments Desired Skills: -GPS Systems engineering experience to include one or more of the following disciplines: Scripting, mathematical modeling, estimation theory, information serving, data compression, internet security and real-time systems. -Familiarity with Perl, Python, C-Shell, XML Linux System Administration Object Oriented Programming Methodology. Required Education(including Major): -BS Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics or related.
