Sr Systems Engineer I - LCC Analyst

LOCATION: FORT WAYNE, IN 46801 Raytheon’s Network Centric Systems Division (NCS) operation in Fort Wayne, IN offers the selected candidate an opportunity to join the world class AMF JTRS development team within the Affordability Engineering discipline. Affordability Engineering is involved in all phases of the program from System Design to Initial Production. Creation of this position is contingent upon award of the AMF JTRS System Development and Demonstration Contract. Job Description: The Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Analyst will represent the Reliability Maintainability Supportability Safety (RMSS) Engineering Department as a member of the AMF JTRS program team and provide solutions to all System and Product Affordability requirements. The LCC analyst will support program requirements for CAIV trade studies, DTC/LCC affordability estimates, provide independent cost estimates and risk analysis, and develop and maintain extensive product/program cost models and relevant supporting bases. The Cost analyst will also develop and provide data and other support as requested by the Program Office and Engineering, participate in Affordability working groups, and manage subcontractor LCC efforts. The Affordability results and recommendations will be documented in formal reports and presented at internal and external program reviews. This position requires a high degree of self-motivation and ability to effectively interface with co-workers, subcontractors, teammates, and customer representatives. Some travel may be required. Required Skills: · Minimum of 4 years experience in engineering analysis with emphasis on cost and Design to Cost with LCC, CAIV, DTUPC, AUPC and TOC emphasis. · Experience in quantitative methods and analytical techniques with respect to database development, parametric modeling and risk analysis. · Practical understanding of design, development, and production processes government acquisition policies and procedures, support concepts and life cycle costs. -Must possess strong writing and presentation skills and be able to communicate succinctly. -Must have strong interpersonal skills and work effectively in an Integrated Product Team environment. -Proficient in using the Microsoft Office applications. Desired Skills: · Experience using LCC and CAIV modeling tools such as Price-H · Ability to work in a fast paced environment. · Subcontractor management experience a plus Required Education (including Major): Minimum B.S. in Engineering, Finance, Business Management, Math or technical field.
