LOCATION: COLORADO SPRINGS, CO 80901 Synopsis of Program: The Air & Space Operations Center Weapons System Integrator (AOC WSI) program provides a smooth migration from the 40+ current AOC subsystems into a unified system. The system will be developed at two sites (Colorado Springs, CO and Hampton, VA), and deployed at various customer sites around the world. Job Description: Information Assurance Engineer This is a position on the Information Assurance team. Selected candidate will assist a Senior Lead IA/Security Engineer to perform technical lockdowns required as a result of STIGs, Gold Disk and Retina Scanning and apply TCNOs/patches/IAVAs in support of CT&E activities for the AOC WS. Individual will be responsible for generating Certification and Accreditation documentation relating to lockdowns, lockdown requirements development, CT&E testing, and support to TCNO implementations. Supports the IA Lead for all activities, and will potentially travel with the baseline releases to the Transformation Center (TC) at Langley AFB, VA for CT&E activities. Will work closely with 46th Test Squadron test personnel to develop and accomplish CT&E activities, to include documentation. Must be able to assist AOC WSI Sys Admins and other personnel with the concepts and activities performed during CT&E. Supervision is limited to instructions and discussions covering basic requirements for the work assigned and routine review of progress of work. Completed assignments are presented to supervisor for review and approval. Performs Certification & Accreditation testing at the TC for AOC WSI efforts. Required Skills: 4-6 years hands-on Information Assurance or System Administration Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment. Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills required. Existing U.S. Government SECRET clearance is required. Desired Skills: · Ideal candidate would also have I&T experience and experience in both Air and Space applications.
