Sr. Test Engineer - 8337 A&F Position Summary The Air & Fuel Divisions has an exciting and challenging opening for an experienced pneumatics or fuel test engineer. Experience in design, testing, computer test control and data acquisition required. Duties include, but not limited to: Evaluates products by designing and conducting a variety of performance, environmental, and operational tests to ensure that customer design specifications are met. Coordinates and directs qualification and development test programs of moderate scope and complexity. Responsibilities Design of fuel or pneumatic systems and components for aerospace applications. Coordinate and support the design and construction of test set-ups for testing our products. Formulate test strategy in a test engineering capacity; test data reduction and analysis. Support other engineering test lab administrative and miscellaneous planning activities. Coordinate engineering test lab equipment calibration, ensure overall accuracy of test data. Requirements · Bachelors degree (BS) in engineering or a related technical discipline.· Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through six or more years of related experience.· Working familiarity and experience in design of pneumatic components and test set-ups.· Working familiarity and experience in design of test control/data acquisition software/equipment.· Working familiarity or experience in measuring air flow, pressure, vacuum, oxygen content preferred.· Working familiarity and experience in fuel systems design/testing preferred.· Hands-on experience in pneumatics/fuel laboratory test set-ups preferred.
