Systems Validation, Test and Analysis Directorate ( SVTAD) is the central focus for all integration, test and validation activities within IDS. More than 1300 employees of SVTAD provide their expertise to ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques. SVTAD employees are involved in all aspects of test including: design-for-test, integration, subsystem and component level testing through sell-off of IDS’ most sophisticated systems and technologies. Opportunities currently exist within SVTAD's CCA Manufacturing Test Engineering Department. This SVTAD department provides Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) test engineering expertise to internal and external end item customers. The department will be aligned with IDS Operations and the Product Process Value Teams (PPVTs). The CCA Manufacturing Test Engineering department strives to continuously improve the Automatic Inspection and Test process by means of capital equipment planning, obsolete equipment migrations and customer focused process enhancement. Some travel may be required. Basic Qualifications BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology Minimum of four years of related experience. Desired Qualifications -Have, or Ability to obtain, Secret Security Clearance -Strong digital & analog test / troubleshoot experience -Ability to troubleshoot complex problems -Ability to assist in the establishment of test requirements, and procedures. -Development of test flow charts and the performance of test capacity analysis. -Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications. -Assuring the technical adequacy of test documentation. -Participating / approving the validation of new or modified test equipment. -Providing first line support for hourly test personnel on the factory floor. -Assists and directs hourly personnel in the troubleshoot of production hardware -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Customer focus and collaboration skills Collection, review and presentation of test failure data -Teradyne S9100 test platform knowledge -Scaleable Test Equipment Platform (STEP) station knowledge -Familiarity with RF test principles / test equipment -Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies This US based Raytheon position requires that an individual can obtain a secret security clearance.
