We are looking for a Thermal Management Systems (TMS) Engineer who will have the oppotunity to work on controlling the fuel and oil temperatures of the engine which includes performing analyses and supporting the development, test, and validation of the engine fuel and oil TMS. This individual will work across several functions including Airframers, the Program office, and the component owners to assure the system meets engine and airframe requirements. You will have the opportunity to represent the TMS group in developing Program alternate solution paths and risk mitigation plans to avoid system shortfalls.

BS in Aero or Mechanical Engineering.


In addition to strong integration and coordination skills, the applicant should possess an analytical background in fluid flow and heat transfer. Applicant will be required to conduct and direct TMS modeling including use of Matlab/Simulink in performing required calculations, assuring standard work has been followed. Use of heat exchanger sizing tools and 1D air flow modeling analysis will also be required. Job also includes the planning and coordination of bench, engine and aircraft tests which support validation of the TMS components, sub-systems, and Full Authority Digital Electronic Control (FADEC) logic.



The position covers commercial, industrial, and military programs. Security clearance, or the ability to acquire one, is desirable, on-the-job and formal training is available.
