Strategy and Control Manager

Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.

Provide innovative finance and accounting consulting and compliance expertise
Develop and maintain standardized business case models for use in evaluating investment opportunities (IRR and ROIC)
Prepare and deliver executive presentations which include holistic view of financial alternatives, comprehensive business case analysis and related recommendations on new investment initiatives.
Research and evaluate new and existing trends and techniques relevant to mergers and acquisitions
Demonstrated experience in leading for Finance mergers engagements for Sundyne
Strong understanding of processes and activities that occur around mergers and acquisitions, integration planning and execution as well as compliance expertise
Working knowledge of tax codes/regulations
Establish relations with various organizations involved in M&A
Experience in internal controls/Sarbanes Oxley
Maintain strong communication and manage expectations and ensure that deadlines are met.
Identify, develop, manage and motivate talent in support of business requirements


BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
MBA preferred

Leadership in a financial management role ideally with general management exposure
Act as a role model
Innovation, proactive, strongly customer focused selling on a long term win win partnership basis
Team player able to motivate a professional customer oriented and professional team.
Excellent communication skills

Track record in a comparable position
High level of executive presence
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Certified Public Accountant
Excellent leadership skills and business acumen
Ability to drive organization change
Strong understand of International Accounting standards
Experience with a multinational corporation
Experience in managing a P&L
