Yoh Aviation has an immediate contract opportunity for a Structural Analysis Engineer focusing on commercial airplane airframe structures in the Puget Sound area of Washington (Seattle, Renton or Everett).

Responsibilities:
• Performing structural analysis of primary and secondary structure and systems.
• Independently developing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with solutions that are imaginative, thorough, and practicable and consistent with organization objectives.
• Working under general direction and reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Frequently working with inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.
• Ensuring that structure meets all applicable regulatory requirements and company design criteria.

Requirements:
• MUST have BS or MS degree in engineering (mechanical, civil or aeronautical preferred) or equivalent degree and typically a minimum of 8 years experience in an engineering classification.
• MUST have airplane engineering experience.
• Capable of performing detail stress analysis using BCA approved structures workstation tools and allowables and have experience with durability and damage tolerance analysis.
• Structures engineering experience and have a minimum of 8 years of overall airplane experience.
• Able to plan and organize their time to work productively and efficiently while being able to adjust to multiple demands.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with standard PC desktop applications is required.
• Composites and fracture experience is a plus.
• Good teaming and communication skills required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is desired.
• Team leadership experience is desired.
