Job Details:

 

In our East Hartford, CT Engineering Center, we have an immediate need for Structural Analysis Engineers to join our high energy, fast-paced, growing team.  In this role you will perform structural analyses on a wide variety of aerospace components.  You will use advanced analysis tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, NASTRAN, and PATRAN to simulate complex mechanical systems.  Static, dynamic, vibration, and thermal analyses will be performed.  You will also interpret the results, make design change recommendations, document the work, and present the findings to our clients.  The opportunity to lead and mentor a team of engineers is available to qualified candidates. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a BSME or MSME and 2 – 5 years experience using computational tools to solve structural problems.  Experience or academic background with mechanics of materials, vibrations, metal fatigue, finite element analysis, and fracture mechanics is needed.  Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills are also required.  Experience with solid modeling tools, especially Unigraphics, would be useful.
