Structural Integration Manager

CSMC is seeking a HPC CIPT Structural Integration Manager for the development of the Next Generation Product Family Common Scalable Core HPC module for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ), Cessna PWX10 and the Bombardier C-Series products. The Common Core incorporates IBRs, cantilevered stators and tie-shaft technologies, producing a light weight and high performance module. The Structural Integrator will have the following responsibilities:

Defines the structural validation requirements that meet the customer and program goals. Develops and ensures component requirements are addressed in the execution of engine verification and validation plans. Breaks down and allocates the PSRD structural criteria and program requirements to the IPTs to ensure they are converted into specific achievable tasks.
Reviews component risks, identifies system risks, and develops/manages mitigation plans that ensure the structural requirements are achieved.
Provides technical leadership to IPTs, and stay current with IPT tasks via CIPT and IPT meetings.
Develops Module and part level certification reports supporting FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) 33 and FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) 25 requirements with IPT's and Partner.

BS Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. MBA or Advanced Engineering Degree a plus

Discipline engineer on static and rotating part families. Minimum ESW Proficiency Level 3 in assigned discipline, willing to develop as part of IDP. Strong communication and organization skills required. Ability to lead multiple IPTs through influence, understand customer requirements and translate into IPT requirements.


This position allows an individual to be part of P&W's game-changing Common Core & GTF engine development. Position is high visibility, with exposure to senior executives. Some travel required.
