Position Title: Subcontract Procurement Specialist Sr.: AerospacePosition Summary: Obtains the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. Responsible for developing, negotiating and administering major or highly complex and high risk subcontracts, ensuring compliance on supplier cost, schedule, legal and performance criteria. Manages all material related issues pertaining to new program development and serves as the main focal point for varied outsourcing projects.Responsibilities:* On-going research of needed capabilities and technologies to coordinate and disseminate engineering support for sourced end item systems level development requirements* Develop and maintain logistics documentation to manage actions, schedules, deliverables and issues associated with key major subcontractors.* Sporadic extended travel and on-site supplier coordinationRequirements:1. Bachelors degree (BA) in Business Administration or related Field. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through ten or more years of increasingly responsible experience in contract administration or procurement including two or more years of high-level project and customer/supplier management. Certificate in Purchasing Management (CPM) or Contracts Management and prior international subcontracting experience desired.2. Aerospace experience required: Strategic perspective to formulate high level dollar and BOM major subcontract agreements in support of flight control systems solutions and work share/partnership agreements.3. Possess skills to research, assess, develop and recommend end item acquisition and collaborative relationship strategies for various aspects needed in flight control systems solutions.4. Ability to develop, coordinate and negotiate agreements reflecting appropriate accountability for inferred risk as a major subcontractor and performance to customer obligations5. Strong project management, presentation and negotiation6.
