Subcontracts Manager

Our Electronic Systems Subcontracts team is looking for a results oriented individual with effective communication and leadership skills to manage multi-functional team(s) for supplier/partner selection and contracting products/services for the Electronic Systems Value Center. Duties include but are not limited to research and develop of potential collaborative manufacturing suppliers/partners, lead/conduct market analyses, perform site surveys, lead or oversee negotiations and selections of external suppliers/partners for the contracting of products/services, utilizing the Supply Chain sourcing process, and manage Collaborative Manufacturing (build to print and specifications) Subcontracts. Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience.Ten or more years of relevant experience.In depth knowledge of FAR and contract law; experience in complex negotiations and supplier management; focus on savings, process improvements and strategic planning.Knowledge of Engineering, Production Engineering and Manufacturing principles. Knowledge of Project Management techniques and requirements development procedures and techniques. Knowledge of financial review principles and Government contract and procurement regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under frequently changing priorities. Written and verbal communications skills including ability to clearly present information through the spoken word, influence or persuade others through oral presentation in positive or negative circumstances, and listen well. Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues. Ability to use reason, even when dealing with emotional topics.Complete knowledge of ITT subcontracting, contracting and procurement policies and procedures.
