Supervisor, Electronics A & T #08256

Moog's Space and Defense Group is currently searching for a Supervisor, ElectronicsA & T  #08256.Duties/Responsibilities:The incumbent is responsible for the quality, quantity, performance and technical direction of the Electronics Assembly and Test Department. The incumbent may have up to 2 A&T Section Supervisors under his/her direction.  Additionally, the incumbent is expected to develop innovative ideas that will improve the quality of the current product and/or increase the quantity assembled and tested per person-hour, thus reducing the total manufacturing cost.Education/Experience:To successfully perform the duties of this position the candidate would normally possess a 2-year technical school degree, 3 - 5 years electronics manufacturing experience, and 3 - 5 years as section supervisor.Skills/Knowledge:The incumbent must be technically competent in the assembly of component parts into sub-assemblies, final assemblies and testing including utilizing surface-mount and leaded technologies. This person is also responsible for the training of department personnel. Strong interpersonal communication skills are critical for success in this role.Must have experience with Surface Mount technology and related equipment (Examples: Mydata, Momentum, Omega Meter, Aquastorm, Flying Probe, etc.)Citizenship Requirements:Due to U.S. Government and Military contracts, candidates must be either a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
